The McDowell group of companies is
privately Canadian owned and operated by the McDowell family.
Founded in 1968 by Bernard "Bernie" McDowell as a used equipment dealer the
McDowell group now offers new and used heavy equipment for rent
or sale.
Our professional and courteous staff has combined
hundreds of years of experience in the heavy equipment
business. We can solve your equipment needs and problems with
our experience.
We strive to ensure success for our
customers. We have welcomed customers to visit our
facility from around the world and we invite you, our customer
to see for yourself.
Our mechanical services include
67500 sq ft of service bays, engine rebuilding with Dynomometer
testing, transmission rebuilding with pressure checks, dedicated
welding shop, full paint shop,
Bortech BoreWelder®
machines, align boring machines, plate cutting tables, cylinder
rebuilding bench.
Our parts department has over 30,000
line items of new, used and rebuilt items. We have dismantled
over 450 machines for used and reconditioned parts. If we don't
have your parts in stock-we will find it.

To date, we have
dismantled many hundreds of machines, to their bare frames, and
have completely rebuilt them to customized work orders.

Our
highly skilled tradesmen can fully recondition any
piece of equipment from the frame to the finishing touch of
paint. Whenever possible, we
remanufacture to the original manufacturer's specifications and include
the mechanical updates, or modify existing features to a
customer's specific needs, such as the installation of fire
suppression systems, auto lube systems and remote control
packages. |
